There are two main categories of curtain walls. In the stick system the curtain wall frame mullions and glass or opaque panels are installed and connected together piece by piece. Curtain wall available in a variety of depths profiles finishes and unitized options our relatively lightweight weathertight curtain wall systems provide a cutting edge combination of design and performance including thermal hurricane and blast resistance.

The units are sent to the field ready to be anchored at the floor slabs. Panelized curtain wall is made up of prefabricated units built in a controlled shop environment. Curtain walls can be defined as non structural aluminum framed walls containing infills of glass thin stone or metal panels that are connected back to the building structure. Arcadia s uw series is a unitized panelized cur tain wall system avail able in both captured 2 side or 4 side structural glazed in a variety of depths profiles and finishes.

Curtain wall systems come in standard depths of 6 10 inches and can go deeper depending on manufacturers capabilities.
